Volunteer Days a Success

Two recent volunteer planting days were a great success. A big thank you to the Local Board for supplying the plants for Jamiesons Bay Esplanade.

At Jamiesons Bay Esplanade, 14 volunteers planted 110 native plants, helping to restore and strengthen this important coastal habitat. At Huawai Bay, 25 volunteers cleared roadside areas in preparation for upcoming tree felling, supporting the next stage of the restoration project.

Together, these efforts highlight the strength of our community and make a direct contribution to improving habitat quality and supporting long-term ecological restoration.
