‘First kereru fledgling in 19 years’

Mike Jenkin recently sent us a video showing an adult kereru and its fledgling. Going to grab his camera, he almost missed capturing the feeding that was in progress. “Thank you fellow trappers”, Mike says . “If anyone doubted the value of your work see the video I took of a mum feeding its baby. This is the first kereru fledgling I have seen from my deck in 19 years in the Bay.”
